Meagan Kathleen Danielski, 59, of Rancho Cordova Killed in Sunrise, Gold Country Blvd Crash

Rancho Cordova, CA – On the evening of Friday, June 20, 2025, a single-vehicle collision resulted in the death of Meagan Kathleen Danielski, 59, of Rancho Cordova, according to The Sacramento Bee.

The Rancho Cordova Police Department reports that the crash occurred around 9:40 PM in the area of Sunrise Boulevard near Gold Country Boulevard. 

First responders were dispatched following reports of a serious traffic collision involving a vehicle that had veered off the roadway.

According to authorities, Danielski was driving southbound on Sunrise Boulevard when, for reasons still under investigation, her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Emergency personnel arrived shortly after the crash and pronounced Danielski dead at the scene due to the severity of her injuries. 

Southbound lanes of Sunrise Boulevard were temporarily closed to allow investigators to document the scene and clear the wreckage. No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the crash.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a full investigation into the incident. Officials have not yet determined whether speed, a medical emergency, or other factors may have contributed to the collision. 

Authorities are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has relevant information to contact the Rancho Cordova Police Department.
