Sacramento, CA – On the morning of Sunday, June 8, 2025, a single-vehicle collision resulted in the deaths of 19-year-old Isaiah Guadalupe Gonzalez and 20-year-old Joaquin Adan Silva, both of Sacramento, according to ABC10.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 4:30 AM at the Longview Drive off-ramp along eastbound Interstate 80.
According to investigators, the vehicle was traveling along the offramp when it left the roadway and crashed as a result of an unsafe turning movement. Both occupants, Gonzalez and Silva, were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Authorities have not released further details regarding who was driving at the time of the crash or whether any contributing factors such as speed or road conditions played a role. The California Highway Patrol stated that the investigation remains ongoing.
