May 20, 2025, Visalia, CA: A man tragically lost his life in a fatal bicycle accident at an intersection in Visalia on Tuesday night.
The accident, according to information provided by Your Central Valley, happened at 9:45 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 63 and Avenue 368. Police confirmed that a man was riding his bicycle near the intersection when he was suddenly struck by the driver of a 2007 Toyota Camry. The driver struck the bicyclist from behind, ejecting the bicyclist.
The cyclist, who was only identified as an adult male, was tragically pronounced dead on scene due to his injuries. The driver of the Toyota was not injured but remained on scene.
California Highway Patrol continues its investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
