May 12, 2025, Fresno, CA: On Sunday evening, a hit-and-run bicycle accident took place at an intersection in Fresno that led to a fatality.
The accident, according to information provided by Your Central Valley, occurred around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Belmont Avenue and Thesta Avenue. Police confirmed that a bicyclist was traveling in the area when they were suddenly struck by the driver of a passenger vehicle. The driver then fled the scene without stopping.
The bicyclist, identified as a man in his late 30s, was found on the road with serious injuries. He was rushed to the hospital but tragically passed away while there.
Police claim that the driver of the involved vehicle was in a black sedan.
