April 24, 2025, Bakersfield, CA: One person sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision that occurred on a roadway in Bakersfield on Thursday night.
The accident, according to information provided by Bakersfield Now, occurred at 10:23 p.m. on Jewetta Avenue around the area of Rosedale Highway. Police confirmed that a silver GMC and a second vehicle were involved in a collision due to unknown reasons, causing one of the vehicles to travel 50 feet down an embankment off the side of the road.
One person was sent to the hospital with injuries. One other person was treated on scene for minor injuries.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the collision continues.
