March 4, 2025, Watsonville, CA: One person was arrested in an accident involving a school bus that took place on Tuesday morning in Watsonville.
According to information provided by Kion46 News Channel, the collision occurred at 7:53 a.m. on Green Valley Road near the area of Minto Road. Police confirmed that a man was driving his gray Honda in the area when he suddenly crashed into a school bus and then six other vehicles in a total of two collisions.
Paramedics confirmed that there were six people in the school bus and none of them sustained injuries. Two other drivers involved in the collision suffered from minor injuries, however. The parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The driver of the Honda attempted to leave the scene of the collision but was stopped by other drivers until a deputy arrived on scene. He was arrested on charges of felony hit-and-run.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the collision continues.
