January 6, 2025, Fresno, CA: A pedestrian sustained critical injuries in an accident that took place at a Fresno intersection on Monday morning.
The accident, according to information provided by Your Central Valley, happened around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Weber Avenue and Olive Avenue. Police confirmed that a driver was headed south on Weber Avenue in the area of Roeding Park and started to make an eastbound turn. At the time, a pedestrian started to cross the street. The driver struck the pedestrian and stopped on scene.
The pedestrian, identified only as an adult male, sustained a critical head injury and was transported to a local hospital by ambulance. Nobody else was injured in the collision.
