January 24, 2025, Visalia, CA: A fatal two-vehicle collision took the life of one victim at an intersection in Visalia on Friday morning.
According to information provided by Your Central Valley, the accident happened around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue 290 and Shirk Road. Police confirmed that a Honda Accord was traveling west on Avenue 280 when it was involved in a crash with a GMC. The Honda and GMC allegedly collided head-on with one another.
The driver of the Honda, identified only as an adult male, was tragically pronounced dead on scene as a result of his injuries. The driver of the GMC was not hurt.
No further details have been released but police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
