December 24, 2024, Lemoore, CA: A woman was killed in a fatal collision near an intersection in Lemoore on Tuesday.
The accident, according to information provided by Your Central Valley, took place around 7:20 p.m. near the intersection of Hanford Armona Road and 16th Avenue. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered that a woman was driving a 2012 Nissan Altima and backing out of a driveway. Her vehicle collided with a 2017 GMC Acadia.
The driver of the Altima was taken to the hospital but she was tragically pronounced dead while there as a result of her injuries. The man driving the GMC, as well as three others in the vehicle, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident continues at this time.
