December 18, 2024, Fresno, CA: An officer was injured in a collision that took place at a Fresno intersection on Wednesday.
The accident, according to information provided by Your Central Valley, occurred at the intersection of Clovis and Olive Avenues sometime in the afternoon. A California Highway Patrol cruiser was traveling in the area when it was struck by a driver who did not stop at the stop sign. The vehicle, identified as a gray Honda Civic, stopped at the scene and sustained damage to the side. The cruiser was badly damaged on its front end.
The officer involved in the crash was hospitalized as a result of the accident. No other parties reported injuries.
