November 29, 2024, Visalia, CA: Two people were injured in a possible DUI collision that took place at a Visalia intersection on Friday morning.
The accident, according to information provided by the Visalia Stringer Facebook page, took place around 12:51 a.m. at the intersection of East Walnut Avenue and South Garden Street. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling on the road near the intersection when their white Mercedes lost control, running off the side of the road and slamming into a black Chrysler 300 that was parked in front of a home.
Paramedics showed up on scene and claim that both parties inside the Mercedes were injured. They were both hospitalized for their injuries.
Police believe that the driver of the Mercedes was driving under the influence at the time of the collision.
