October 13, 2024, Bakersfield, CA: On Sunday afternoon, a two-vehicle collision with injuries took place at an intersection in Bakersfield.
According to Bakersfield Now, the accident happened around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Mohawk Street and Truxtun Avenue. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other at the intersection due to reasons that are not yet known.
One person was injured as a result of the accident. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked at the intersection for some time until police cleared the scene.
