October 25, 2024, Visalia, CA: A two-vehicle collision with injuries took place at an intersection in Visalia on Friday morning.
According to information provided by the Visalia Stringer Facebook page, the accident happened around 9:35 a.m. at the intersection of North Willis Street and West Oak Avenue. Police confirmed that an SUV and a pickup truck were traveling in the area when they collided with each other on the train tracks by the intersection. Police were able to contact the railroad company and get the train to stop before reaching that area.
When paramedics arrived on scene, they discovered one or more individuals involved in the accident with injuries. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not known at this time.
