September 24, 2024, Fairfield, CA: A pregnant woman lost her unborn child and her toddler was injured in a Fairfield pedestrian accident on Tuesday evening.
According to information provided by KCRA, the accident happened at 7:18 p.m. on East Tabor Avenue near the area of Manor Avenue. A woman was crossing the street with her toddler in a stroller when she was suddenly struck by a vehicle headed through the area. The driver of the vehicle narrowly missed the stroller she was pushing. Police confirmed that the driver stopped and remained on scene.
The female pedestrian was rushed to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. Her unborn child was tragically lost to the accident. Her toddler sustained minor injuries.
