August 20, 2024, Bakersfield, CA: On Tuesday evening, a motorcycle accident with injuries took place at a Bakersfield intersection.
The accident, according to Bakersfield Now, took place at 5 p.m. at the intersection of Edison Highway and Sterling Road. A motorcyclist was traveling in the area when they were involved in a collision with a passenger vehicle due to reasons that remain under investigation.
When police and paramedics arrived on scene, they found the motorcyclist lying on the road but they were moving. They were rushed to the hospital with severe injuries. Nobody else was hurt in the accident.
Due to the severity of the collision, both eastbound and westbound lanes of Edison were blocked for several hours.
