August 29, 2024, Modesto, CA: A woman lost her life in a pedestrian accident that took place on a highway in Modesto on Thursday night.
According to information provided by KCRA, the accident happened at 11:40 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Highway 99 around the area of 9th Street. A woman was walking in the area when she was suddenly struck by a white pickup truck that was traveling around 60 mph. The driver remained on scene after the accident.
