On Saturday night, a man was tragically killed in a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Santa Barbara. According to information provided by KSBY, the accident happened around 11:30 p.m. at 800 Cliff Drive on the night of June 29, 2024.

When Santa Barbara Police Department officials arrived on scene, they discovered that a male pedestrian was lying in the roadway. They discovered that he was struck by the driver of a vehicle that fled the scene.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. It is not known if the male pedestrian was taken to the hospital but he was tragically pronounced deceased due to his injuries.

Police are still working to find the driver responsible for the accident. The investigation into the collision continues.
