Walmart is one of the most affordable places for some consumers to buy groceries, receive vision care, pick up prescriptions, and more throughout California. However, there are dangers present at Walmarts that can severely disrupt pedestrian’s lives. This is especially true in parking lots and other areas of Walmart where vehicles are present.
Being hurt in a pedestrian accident is a reality for hundreds of individuals in California each year. Clovis is no stranger to these horrific accidents, which lead to serious injuries and even take lives. Especially when a hit-and-run driver is involved in a pedestrian accident, the results can be devastating, as a pedestrian may not receive immediate medical attention. Options for Financial Recovery for Victims of Clovis Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accidents
Hit-and-run pedestrian accidents are some of the most catastrophic accidents that occur on our roads in Clovis and throughout the rest of California. When a pedestrian is struck and does not receive immediate medical care, there is always a chance that their condition could worsen or they could lose their life. How does the victim of a hit-and-run pedestrian accident hold a driver liable for the harm that they have caused in an accident?
There are two different scenarios that could take place:
- A hit-and-run driver could be later apprehended by police, which means that you have the option to bring a personal injury claim.
- A hit-and-run driver is never apprehended. This means that you will need to file a claim against your own uninsured motorist coverage for financial support.
If you are considering a personal injury claim after a hit-and-run pedestrian accident, it can be beneficial to seek the assistance of a legal advocate who has previously handled these claims.
