There are many attractions to see in Gonzales, from local parks to pools and wineries. Because of all these sights and places to travel, many individuals choose to travel by foot from one area to the next. Unfortunately, in areas where walking is most popular, this also increases the likelihood of accidents involving these vulnerable parties.
Especially when a child is involved in a pedestrian accident, it is likely to end in catastrophic damages. Children are not always aware of the dangers of the road, which is why drivers are always supposed to utilize care when children are present on our roads. Sustaining injuries as a child can be a terrifying and confusing experience.

Support for Families of Children Injured in Pedestrian Accidents in Gonzales
Pedestrian accident claims involving children can be incredibly complex matters. This is due to the fact that a child cannot bring their own personal injury claim and will need the help of a parent or guardian. The insurance company for the driver involved may try to further complicate matters and blame the accident on the child, stating that they were not paying attention to the road when the accident happened. This is why a child needs all the support that they can receive after an accident.
With the help of a legal advocate, a child may be able to receive damages for some of the following aspects:
- Medical bills that the child sustained
- Loss of future income if the child is unable to work
- Rehabilitation and therapy costs
- Pain and suffering
