Fresno Police Department officials arrived at the scene to discover that multiple vehicles were on fire. Police confirmed that multiple vehicles collided forcefully in the area and one driver fled the scene. Police believe that the fleeing driver may have been involved in a shooting that led to injuries.
A total of four individuals were injured as a result of the vehicle accident. One of the victims was identified as a 75-year-old woman who was tragically pronounced dead due to her injuries. The conditions of the other individuals are not known at this time.
A portion of the road was blocked in the area following the accident. Fresno Police continue their investigation into the accident.
