Truck Accident Dangers on Millerton Rd in Fresno County

Motorists can use reasonable speeds to safely travel curvy, rural roads in Fresno County. But that doesn’t mean other drivers will use that same caution.

A driver in a large vehicle, like a truck or van, may not be paying enough attention to the roads to anticipate sharp curves and steeper inclines. They may lose control and endanger drivers and passengers on both sides of the road. In the most dangerous incidents, victims can instantly suffer life-threatening injuries.

Support for Victims and Families After a Fresno County Traffic Accident

Victims of frightening accidents must often deal with long and difficult recoveries. And families who have lost a loved one will, of course, never completely get over the pain and grief of such a heartbreaking tragedy.

For families of lost loved ones, a wrongful death claim filed against an at-fault driver’s car insurance company may become necessary. This allows close relatives of the victim to seek help with these hardships and more:

  • Cost of ambulance fees and emergency services.
  • Cost of remaining medical bills from before the victim passed away.
  • The loss of the income the deceased had always provided through his or her job.
  • Costs of a funeral and burial.

For surviving victims, a claim for damages can prove the best option when trying to get every cost of recovery reimbursed. Patients should receive money to pay their current medical bills and to pay for care needed in the years ahead.

They must also demand help in replacing the paychecks they lose while unable to work. Their physical pain and emotional trauma would make them eligible for additional compensation.
