Wrong-Way Accident Dangers on 60 Freeway in Hacienda Heights in Los Angeles County

Drivers on Los Angeles County Freeways can monitor the traffic beside them and behind them, but they may never expect to be put in jeopardy by a vehicle traveling straight for them. This can happen when a wrong-way driver enters a highway.

Unsuspecting motorists may be confused by the sight of headlights coming directly for them and won’t have the time or space to avoid a devastating head-on collision. Drivers and passengers might suffer severe injuries and be in need of immediate life-saving care.

Support for Victims and Their Families After a Hacienda Heights Wrong-Way Accident

Families who have lost a loved one in a terrible accident can be unfairly subjected to the costs of a funeral and emergency services all at once and be facing extreme financial difficulties. A civil claim filed against an at-fault driver’s car insurance provider can ask for assistance with these expenses.

This wrongful death claim is also intended to protect the family from financial hardship in the future by replacing the weekly income the deceased can no longer provide a spouse or children.

For surviving victims, a claim for damages is the best way to ensure every cost of recovery is covered. This civil claim seeks to earn money to pay all medical expenses and can also be counted on to support victims as they remain out of work and miss valuable paychecks.

A wrong-way driver involved in an accident may be facing criminal charges, but victims won’t have to wait on a criminal trial to file a claim. Victims and family members may file a civil claim and secure financial support even if criminal hearings are just getting underway.
