At least one person was hurt in a frightening two-car crash in southwest Bakersfield late Wednesday night. KGET-TV reported the collision occurred along Belle Terrace near the intersection of New Stine Road on March 22, 2023.
Bakersfield police responded to the scene sometime around midnight. They discovered that two vehicles had collided leaving one on top of the other. In a video from the scene, the rear end of a mini-van can be seen sitting on top of a car’s hood.
Witnesses reported that one person was put on an ambulance stretcher. It’s not clear exactly how many people suffered injuries in the crash.
Bakersfield police officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
