A pedestrian accident just south of downtown San Jose sent two women to the hospital Tuesday afternoon. CBS Bay Area reports the accident took place near the intersection of West Reed Street and Almaden Avenue on August 9, 2022.
San Jose Police were called to the scene around 4 p.m. They found two women who had been walking in the area suffering from injuries after being struck by a vehicle. The victims were rushed to an area hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved was also transported to the hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries. San Jose Police have not released details from their investigation as to how the accident happened.
