Highway 101 through Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties becomes a dangerous stretch of road when drivers become careless. A jerk of the wheel or a veer out of a lane can cause one car to enter the path of other vehicles. Careful drivers may not have room to avoid a reckless driver, especially along bridges where there may be less room on shoulders to provide an escape.
These intense crashes can leave drivers and passengers suffering from serious injuries they may not even know they have. The shock and adrenaline of what’s happened may mask the pain of an injury until a victim wakes up the next day to find they’ve been hurt more seriously than they thought.

Finding Assistance for Santa Maria Car Accident Victims
Once a car accident victim has been diagnosed with an injury, it’s critical that patients file a claim for damages against the at-fault driver’s car insurance company. This claim seeks help with all medical bills, reimbursement for lost wages at work, and compensation for physical and emotional pain.
Insurance adjusters may try to limit the support you receive, but your Fresno Car Accident Lawyer can provide strong evidence that forces insurance companies to pay what’s fair. An injury may only result in a night in the emergency room, but it could also require months of expensive physical therapy. Regardless, you shouldn’t have to pay for any medical care over an accident you didn’t cause.

Injured victims often don’t know how much their initial care will cost or how much money they’ll need to pay for the care needed down the road. Insurance companies can take advantage of this fact. They will work to talk a victim out of filing a claim or move to provide far less in compensation than a victim will need to fully recover.
