Fiery Fresno Car Accident Sends One to Hospital
A two-vehicle crash in central Fresno left one person injured early Friday morning. ABC30-TV reports the accident occurred just before 1 a.m. at the intersection of Belmont Avenue and Fulton Street on June 3, 2022.
Fresno police discovered a damaged Toyota Corolla and damage to another Toyota sedan at the scene. They determined that one of the vehicles was traveling east on Belmont Avenue when it was hit by another driver going south on Fulton Street.
One vehicle caught fire after the impact but emergency crews were able to extinguish the flames quickly. A woman inside the car that caught fire was taken to the hospital with injuries. There have been no updates provided on her condition.
Fresno police investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the accident to determine who was at fault.
