A devastating two-vehicle crash south of Fresno claimed one life and left three people injured Monday afternoon. KFSN-TV reports the accident occurred just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of South Avenue and Cherry Avenue on May 30, 2022.
Authorities say that a car and a small truck crashed at the intersection south of Easton not far from Highway 41. The passenger in the small pickup was tragically killed in the collision. The driver of the truck suffered major injuries. Two adults in the car were injured. Thankfully a child in the car was unharmed.
Right now, it’s not clear which vehicle ran the stop sign to cause the accident. The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
