Fresno Police say the accident began when the driver of a Toyota Camry heading west on Ashlan Avenue ran a red light. The Toyota then collided with a Kia Spectra and a Honda Civic.

The crash sent one person from the Toyota and two people in the Kia to the hospital with injuries. Police investigators continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
