A collision between a vehicle and a delivery truck claimed one life early Thursday morning in the Cheviot Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. According to Patch, the accident occurred around 2 a.m. on the Santa Monica Freeway near Coventry Place on January 27, 2022.
Los Angeles Police Officers say a silver SUV and a UPS truck collided in the westbound lanes. One person was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. There was no information on whether anyone else may have been injured.
Four lanes of the freeway had to be closed as emergency responders administered aid and investigators worked to determine what caused the accident.
