Hanford police found the victim suffering from major injuries in the middle of the road. The 59-year-old woman was rushed to Kaweah Health Medical Center where she later died.
The driver of the pickup truck involved remained on the scene of the accident. Hanford Police say that the victim was in a crosswalk when she was struck. Investigators are still determining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
