Bakersfield Police say two vehicles were traveling east on Brundage Lane when a third vehicle pulled out in front of them.
The resulting collisions took the life of one victim in the third vehicle. Several other people suffered injuries in the crash. Authorities said their injuries ranged from minor to moderate in severity.
Bakersfield Police Investigators believe that alcohol and speed were factors in the accident. They are asking anyone who may have information about the incident to call them.
