A crash involving a tractor-trailer truck and a car in northeast San Luis Obispo County left two people injured Tuesday morning. KSBY-TV reported the accident occurred around 6 a.m. along Highway 41 north of the “Y” intersection with Highway 46, northeast of Shandon, on October 5, 2021.
Authorities said that a black Honda Accord and a semi-truck were involved in the collision. This crash sent the semi into a ravine to tip over. CAL FIRE SLO reports the incident left one person with minor injuries and another victim with moderate injuries.
An update on the condition of the victims has not been provided. The California Highway Patrol is working to determine what led to the accident.
