A man crossing the road in Fresno was hit by a vehicle and hospitalized on Sunday Night. KSEE-TV reports the accident occurred around 8:15 p.m. near the intersection of Blackstone Avenue and Cornell Avenue on August 28, 2021.
The Fresno Police Department says the 31-year-old victim was crossing in a poorly lit area when he was struck by an SUV. The man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. There have been no updates released on how he is doing.
The driver of the SUV pulled over and cooperated with investigators. Drugs and alcohol are not thought to have played a role in the crash.
