A motorcyclist was tragically killed in a collision in Kern County south of Lamont and Weedpatch Thursday night. KGET-TV reports the accident occurred at the intersection of Weedpatch Highway and Bear Mountain Boulevard on August 19, 2021.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene shortly after 8:45 p.m. They say the accident involved a collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle. The rider involved suffered fatal injuries.
Information on the victim or any other details about the crash has not been released. CHP investigators continue to work to determine what led to the collision.
