Dangerous Head-On Collisions On Hills Valley Road in Tulare County CA

Rural roads in Tulare County can be narrow, high-speed routes that carry as much traffic as highways at certain times of the day. Motorists can encounter many hazards and many of them involve other drivers.  That includes distracted drivers who are looking at cellphones when they should be making sure they remain between the white and yellow lines.

Motorists can also have their foot on the gas and be going too fast to safely stay in control of their vehicles. These are common reasons that vehicles inch across dividing lines and into the path of oncoming traffic. The result can be a dangerous sideswipe or head-on collision to cause severe harm to the drivers and passengers involved.

Four Victims Injured in Tulare County Head-On Collision

Two people were rushed to the hospital in Fresno after a devastating front-end collision in northern Tulare County Tuesday morning. ABC30-TV reported the accident happened around 5 a.m. near the intersection of Hills Valley Road and Manning Avenue southeast of Orange Cove on August 23, 2021.

The California Highway Patrol says a Honda Civic and a Honda Pilot collided head-on. Four people were injured in the collision. Two of the victims were taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. The condition of the victims has not been released.

A Good Samaritan stopped in a Chevy Tahoe to help the victims but was rear-ended by a Dodge pickup truck. No one was hurt in this second accident. California Highway Patrol investigators continue to determine what led to the accidents.

Earning Support for Accident Victims in Tulare County

Those hurt in accidents can endure several moments of frustration throughout recovery. They may also face worry and anxiety over the cost of their medical care and rehabilitation.

For victims, filing a claim for damages against the insurance company representing the at-fault driver can be the only way to ensure getting compensation for every medical invoice received. This can include bills for ambulance transport, emergency room visits, and days or weeks in the hospital. This claim also asks for full reimbursement for the time at work lost while victims heal.

Insurance companies aren’t required to inform victims of every benefit available to them. By omitting this information, insurance adjusters often get away with leaving some expenses for the victim to pay out-of-pocket.
