A driver was killed after striking several parked cars and crashing into a car dealership in northeast Fresno Wednesday afternoon. KGPE-TV reports the accident occurred on Clovis Avenue just south of Dakota Avenue on August 4, 2021.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene shortly after 4:44 p.m. and found that a southbound Chevy Trailblazer on Clovis Avenue had traveled over a median to hit three parked vehicles. The vehicle overturned and came to a stop in a used car dealership.
Investigators say the driver of the Chevy was killed in the collisions. A 31-year-old man in a parked Toyota Camry suffered major injuries and was rushed to the hospital. Investigators are still determining what caused the driver of the Chevy Trailblazer to lose control.
