Traffic Accidents Along Avenue 15 in Madera County CA

Travel on rural two-lane roads in Madera County can be hazardous for any driver at any hour. The speeds reached by some drivers on long, straight stretches increase the risk of a loss of control. Even a slight veer off course where lanes are separated only by a double-yellow line can easily leave one vehicle in the path of oncoming traffic. A frightening collision can be almost unavoidable when this happens.

Drivers can glance away from the road for a moment or simply lose focus and suddenly allow their vehicle to become an extreme hazard to all other motorists nearby. The mistake can lead to a devastating collision and endanger the lives of everyone involved.

Finding Assistance for Families After an Accident In Madera County

A roadway tragedy will leave families behind to deal with the consequences of a terrible accident. The family may be unsure about their future after a loved one who had always provided emotional and financial support has suddenly been taken away.

Under such tragic circumstances, close family members are permitted to file a wrongful death claim to protect the family from financial ruin after a fatal accident. This claim would petition the at-fault driver’s insurance company for support for things like funeral expenses, hospital and paramedic fees, and estate settlement costs. A spouse or domestic partner, children of the victim, and other relatives can file this claim on behalf of the entire family.

An attorney can also file this claim for the family. The family’s lawyer can investigate a collision and gather evidence to ensure an insurance provider can’t attempt to shift blame in an accident and escape responsibility. A car accident lawyer will also make sure the needs of the family in the coming years are factored into any request for support.
