Motorcyclists in Modesto can travel at great risk when they encounter careless and distracted drivers. One of the most dangerous situations riders can find themselves in can be initiated by a driver not checking well enough before entering a roadway. They can give a half-hearted look in both directions and miss the smaller profile of a motorcycle, prompting them to pull out directly in the path of a rider.
Careless drivers can also fail to check their mirrors and blindspots properly and make a dangerous, unexpected lane switch that leaves no room for the motorcyclist beside them. These frightening mistakes can be corrected by simply paying more attention.
Sadly, the duty to show proper care on the roads can be neglected and unprotected motorcyclists can quickly end up in harm’s way.

Support for Families After Modesto Motorcycle Collisions
Families left behind after a tragic motorcycle accident shouldn’t have to deal with anything other than coping with their loss. Unfortunately, the costs of a funeral and burial, ambulance fees, and the expense of settling the victim’s estate can all target a family still trying to mourn their loved one.
Families who have lost a beloved member to a careless driver’s mistake are permitted to file a wrongful death lawsuit against the driver’s auto insurance provider. This civil claim can call upon the driver’s coverage to support the family at a vulnerable time and protect them from the costs that arise after a tragic accident. The claim can also help secure the family financially in the future as they must continue their lives without the emotional and economic support the deceased has always provided.
At such a difficult time, insurance companies can still fight to save themselves money by undermining a family’s right to seek help. Insurance agents are known for trying to pin the blame in accidents on riders, even when they are completely innocent. An attorney working on behalf of the family can investigate the circumstances of an accident, gather police and medical reports, and witness testimony to make sure an insurance company has no grounds to deny coverage to a hurting family.
