Car Accidents Involving Rollovers in Stanislaus County CA

Traveling in Stanislaus County has become increasingly more dangerous as drivers allow more and more factors to distract them while they are at the wheel. A glance at a cell phone or a reach for a drink can pull a driver’s eyes from the road for a frightening amount of time. Drivers are also continuing to make reckless decisions on the road that can endanger more than just themselves.

County emergency crews respond to the aftermath of these tragic accidents all year long. In 2019, the county recorded 3,196 collisions on local roads and highways. Those incidents claimed 70 lives in Stanislaus County and left another 4,704 to deal with injuries.

Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash in Stanislaus County

Two vehicles collided just south of Keyes and north of Turlock Saturday afternoon claiming one victim’s life and leaving another victim injured. The Modesto Bee reports the accident happened just before noon at the intersection of East Keyes Road and Faith Home Road on February 13, 2021.

The California Highway Patrol found that a gray Mercedes-Benz traveling westbound on East Keyes and a light brown Hyundai sedan traveling south on Faith Home collided. The impact sent the Hyundai rolling over and into a nearby orchard. One man was tragically killed in the crash. Another man suffered injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

Investigators believe the crash was caused by one of the vehicles running a red light. Crews from the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department and the Keyes Fire Protection District also helped in the accident response.

Support for Stanislaus County Accident Victims

The toll of tragic accidents can’t just be found in the financial and physical costs they leave behind. Surviving victims and the families of those lost can suffer a complete change of lifestyle and struggle to recover from the devastating consequences.

For families that have lost someone, a wrongful death claim can be filed to help find some justice after a terrible accident. This claim can serve to stabilize the family financially as the costs of emergency response, a funeral, and estate settlement all come due in the same period. A claim can ask an at-fault driver’s insurance representative for help with these expenses. A lawsuit can also provide for the years to come as family members must move forward without the emotional and financial support the deceased had provided.

For victims recovering from injury after a collision, a claim for damages can be filed against an at-fault driver’s insurance company. The costs of hospital care and future rehabilitation shouldn’t fall to innocent victims. Victims will likely also be suffering financially while they lose paychecks while missing work hours. The normal monthly costs like car payments and gas and power bills can also start to add up at this vulnerable time. A claim for damages can sometimes be the only way to force an insurance company to cover every loss a victim endures.
