Support for Motorcyclists Injured in Madera County Accidents

Under the best of conditions, drivers can be careless around motorcyclists and cause dangerous situations for riders. The chances of a frightening accident only increase when drivers lose control of their bodies and their vehicles after consuming alcohol.

Motorcyclists travel with very little protection and any collision with a vehicle can leave them with severe injuries and a long recovery away from their bikes. The healing process can be challenging for victims, but it can be made even worse when motorcyclists face enormous hospital and physical therapy bills over a crash that wasn’t their fault.

In these cases, a victim may need to file a claim for damages against an at-fault driver’s insurance company to make sure all hardships experienced after an accident are covered. These costs should not fall to the victims especially when they threaten to leave them in financial ruin. This civil lawsuit against an insurance company can be filed even as a suspect faces criminal proceedings for his mistakes. The civil proceedings can advance even if a criminal trial has yet to begin.
