October 20, 2026, Bakersfield, CA: A two-truck accident led to injuries at an intersection in Bakersfield on Tuesday morning.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 7 a.m. at the intersection of Pond Road and SR-43. Police confirmed that a lowboy big rig and a semi-truck hauling dirt were involved in a collision at the intersection due to reasons that are still being investigated. This led to extensive damages.
Several emergency responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries and were treated on scene. It is not known how many were possibly hospitalized.
