Local two-lane roads in Stanislaus County can carry heavy traffic that travels at excessive speeds. These conditions leave little room for drivers to correct for mistakes. Any error in judgment can lead to a devastating accident and endanger the lives of drivers and passengers.
Head-on collisions are especially dangerous because they multiply the force of impact involved and can cause especially serious injuries to the occupants of the vehicles involved. The injuries involved can include broken bones, traumatic brain injuries, and internal organ damage. In severe cases, these accidents can also, sadly, claim lives.

Support for Victims and Their Families After a Stanislaus County Accident
Victims and their families are permitted to call upon the insurance companies of at-fault drivers to seek support for the hardships that follow tragic accidents.
For injured victims, a claim for damages can be filed in order to secure compensation to help pay for days, weeks, and months of medical care. Victims should also expect help with their lost wages while they miss work and fall farther and farther behind on things like rent, car payments, and other monthly bills.
For families who have lost a loved one, a wrongful death claim can be filed with the insurance company representing an at-fault driver. This claim would seek support to protect close relatives from the cost of a funeral, and ambulance and hospital expenses. The civil lawsuit would also seek to protect the family’s future when they’ll have to move on without the guidance and monetary support the deceased will no longer be able to provide.
