Frazier Park, CA – On the afternoon of Sunday, September 13, 2026, a head-on collision resulted in the death of Laura Susana Soledad Pensamiento, 55, of Frazier Park, according to KGET.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 2:15 PM on Cuddy Valley Road west of Lockwood Valley Road, a rural mountain roadway in the Frazier Park area of Kern County.
Authorities said Pensamiento was driving a vehicle that collided head-on with a Ford F-250 driven by a 57-year-old Frazier Park man traveling east on Cuddy Valley Road. Pensamiento was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash. The Kern County Coroner’s Office formally identified Pensamiento following her death.
