Stockton, CA – In the early hours of Thursday, September 17, 2026, a pedestrian hit-and-run resulted in a man losing his life in the Bear Creek District, according to ABC10.
The Stockton Police Department reports that the accident took place before 2:20 AM at Wagner Heights Road and Single Tree Court, a residential intersection within the Bear Creek District on the city’s north side.
Authorities said the man was struck by a vehicle. First responders transported him to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The Stockton Police Department’s traffic unit is investigating.
