September 11, 2026, Kingsburg, CA: A man was tragically killed in a pedestrian accident on a Kingsburg highway Friday night.
According to Your Central Valley, the accident happened around 8:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 99 close to the Avenue 384 area. Police confirmed that a man started walking across the street when he was struck by the driver of a Lexus SUV.
Paramedics and other responders were dispatched. The pedestrian male was tragically pronounced dead on scene as a result of his injuries. The driver of the Lexus was not hurt.
