San Jose, CA – On the morning of Thursday, September 3, 2026, a collision resulted in a bicyclist losing his life near Tully Road and the Highway 101 on-ramp, according to KRON.
The San Jose Police Department reports that the accident took place around 7:45 AM.
Authorities said the bicyclist was involved in a collision with a vehicle. As a result of the impact, he sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. The driver is cooperating with the investigation.
Westbound Tully Road was blocked from South King Road to the Highway 101 on-ramp for an extended period, and motorists were advised to use alternate routes. The bicyclist’s identity had not been released at the time of reporting.
