September 1, 2026, Monterey, CA: A four-vehicle collision involving a big rig took place at a Monterey intersection on Tuesday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 12:06 p.m. at the intersection of County Road G12 and Prunedale North Road. Police confirmed that a big rig and three other vehicles were involved in a collision due to reasons that are not yet known, leading to extensive damages.
