Crash with Cattle Truck at Fowler, Elkhorn Ave Injures 5 in Fresno County

Fresno County, CA – On the morning of Thursday, August 27, 2026, five people were hospitalized following a collision involving a minivan and a cattle truck, according to KSEE/KGPE.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 6:00 AM at the intersection of Fowler Avenue and Elkhorn Avenue in Fresno County.

Authorities said a minivan carrying six occupants rolled through a stop sign and collided with a cattle truck. Five of the passengers in the minivan sustained minor to moderate injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the cattle truck was uninjured.

CHP has not released whether speed, mechanical failure, or alcohol were factors in the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
