Arden-Arcade, CA – On the afternoon of Wednesday, August 26, 2026, a single-vehicle collision involving a van resulted in the hospitalization of three adults and an infant, according to FOX40.
The California Highway Patrol and Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District report that the accident took place around 3:57 PM in the 3000 block of Auburn Boulevard along Del Paso Regional Park.
Authorities said a van crashed into a tree for unknown reasons. As a result of the impact, all four occupants became trapped inside the vehicle. Sac Metro Fire personnel responded to the scene and extricated the victims before transporting them to a local hospital. Emergency medical personnel performed CPR on one male victim at the scene, and his condition has not been publicly released.
CHP has not released whether speed, mechanical failure, or alcohol were factors in the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
