August 26, 2026, Monterey, CA: On Wednesday afternoon, a hit-and-run accident with injuries occurred at a Monterey intersection.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 3:38 p.m. at the intersection of Dolan Road and Avila Road. Police confirmed that a blue Chevrolet was struck by an unknown vehicle. The driver then fled the scene of the accident.
One or more parties in the vehicle that stayed on scene sustained injuries. They were hospitalized but their conditions are not yet known.
Police continue to search for the driver. No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
